Havanna Lounge

The Havanna Lounge is situated in Bremen’s historical Old Stock Exchange, adjacent to the Bürgerschaft parliament building. Established in 2001, the business and social club has over 420 members, drawn from the city’s most renowned companies, law firms, medical practices and consulting firms. With its high-end restaurant and comfortable interior, the club serves as a stylish base in the heart of the city – perfect for get-togethers, business meetings and exclusive events. The Havanna Lounge has been furnished in the timeless elegance of an English club: fine wood, exquisite fabric wall coverings, sumptuous drapes, traditional parquet and flagstone floors, combined with subtle lighting for an atmosphere of sophistication and calm. All rooms are grouped in a ring around the historic, arcade staircase. "Many members use the Havana Lounge as a retreat between appointments, as well as to take lunch or dine with personal guests or business associates,” the club’s managing partner, Olaf Janotta, explains. “The premises are also frequently used for conferences, seminars and lectures.” The club’s London Room – which faces out to the sculpture garden – offers space for 20 to 40 attendees, while the Paris Room features an oval marquetry table for 16 people to conduct a meeting or dine. Those wishing to hold a large-scale event at the Havanna Lounge are able to allow for up to 300 guests. Naturally, event technology and WLAN are provided, and all aspects of service and cuisine will be perfectly tailored to each occasion. The tables in the club’s restaurant are loosely arranged so that conversations remain confidential, making it the perfect setting for business meetings. Members also have the option of using the Fireplace Room or the Library to be undisturbed. In addition to an exquisite seasonal menu, the restaurant also offers a daily Business Lunch comprising of two light, varied courses.
