Penang Club

The Penang Club is located at the seafront in the heart of Georgetown, Penang. Established in 1868, it is a well-preserved landmark that has served as a 'second home' for generations of leaders in commerce, industry and government. Club members represent the current generation of business leaders, professionals, academics, politicians, senior government officials, military officers, diplomats and other community leaders. Earlier in the Club’s history, the demand for its services caused it to outgrow two club houses, before the present one was built in 1964. The Club is continuously upgrading its facilities to offer the highest levels of comfort and service. Its varied social and recreational calendar includes special dinners, buffets, club nights, guest artists and activities for Club members, their families and guests. In short, Penang Club is a home away from home where Club members can enjoy the amenities, socialise and relax.
