The Moreton Club

The Moreton Club was founded in 1924 as a 'home away from home' for women who wished to meet in a social setting. The Moreton Club provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for members and guests. Since 1957, the Club has been located in a subtropical garden on the Brisbane River in New Farm, three kilometers from the city center. Bertholme is a charming, heritage-listed cottage with a large drawing room, dining room, a small card room and lounges. Additions to the original building include a residential wing with a large function room and magnificent views of the Brisbane River and skyline.
