University of Innsbruck
Just like the Kitzbühel Country Club, the University of Innsbruck is deeply rooted in Tyrol. The university was founded more than 350 years ago in 1669 – and its history has been inextricably linked with that of the Tyrol region ever since. So it seemed only fitting for the Country Club to develop a successful partnership with the renowned institution. Through this collaboration, Richard Hauser has enabled Club members to benefit from a programme of fascinating lectures within the framework of the KCC’s regular ‘Stuben Talks’. The university’s Förderkreis 1669 association, meanwhile, appreciates the opportunity to share the university’s treasure trove of knowledge with multi-faceted groups of Club members.
In 2024, this yielded talks on a variety of topics: the university’s Dean, Univ.-Prof.in Dr. Veronika Sexl, discussed developments and prospects in the field of medicine; Univ.-Prof. Dr. Matthias Bank and his colleague, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Jochen Lawrenz, spoke about modern financial investment portfolio management against the backdrop of increasing digitalisation, while the European law expert Univ.-Prof. Dr. Walter Obwexer addressed the current societal challenges in the European Union.
The KCC and the University of Innsbruck look forward to many more fascinating evenings – don’t miss out!
